The student portal: a guide for students
How students sign in and find their diary, results, timetable, online classes, attendance, fees, notices and study material.
The student portal is where you check your own school life: homework in the diary, results, timetable, exam date sheet, online classes, attendance, fees and notices. This guide shows where each thing is.
Before you start
- Your school gives you a Student ID and a password. If you do not have them, ask the school office.
- The menu shows only the features your school uses. If you do not see something described here, it may not be included in your school's plan; ask your teacher or the office.
Steps
Sign in
- Open the sign-in page your school gave you. The screen is titled Student Login.
- Enter your Student ID and Password, then sign in.
- You arrive at your Dashboard.
Find your way around
- Academics: open Diary for homework and class notes, Results for marks, Time Table for your weekly classes and Date Sheet for exam dates. Some schools also show Hifz or Academic.
- Learning: join Online Classes, hand in Assignments and take Quizzes, where your school uses them. Some schools also show an LMS link.
- Attendance & Leave: see your Attendance, send a Leave Request, or ask for Early Leave where offered.
- Finance & Services: Fee History, Transport, Library and Hostel.
- Communication: Notice Board, SMS & Alerts, Discussion Board and Complaints, plus Appointments and Lost & Found where available.
- Resources: My Documents where available, and Download Center with Syllabus, Study Material and Others.
- Calendar: choose Academic Calendar for term dates and holidays, or Event Calendar for school events.
Read a notice
- Open Notice Board. Urgent notices are marked so they stand out.
- Use View Attachment to open any file that comes with a notice.
- If the notice asks for it, click Acknowledge so the school knows you have read it.
Good to know
- SMS & Alerts shows the text messages the school has sent to you, with dates. You cannot reply from there.
- Study files your teachers share appear in the Download Center. If a file is missing, ask the teacher which section it was posted to.
- Online classes and quizzes appear only when your teacher has scheduled them for your class.
- If you cannot sign in, the screen tells you to contact admin staff. The school office can check your Student ID and help you sign in.
- Always log out on a shared or school computer.
Common questions
Can my parents see what I see?
Your parents have their own family portal with much of the same information, such as results, attendance, fees and notices.
My result is not showing.
Results appear once the school publishes them. Until then the section may be empty.
