Common questions about Payroll & Salary Management

How do auto-deductions work for late arrivals?
The system integrates with attendance data. When you generate salaries, it automatically calculates deductions based on your configured rules for late arrivals, short leaves, and absences. These are then subtracted from the gross salary.
Can I add custom allowance and deduction heads?
Yes, go to Configuration > Pay Allowances to add custom allowances (e.g., Transport Allowance). Go to Configuration > Pay Deductions to add deduction heads (e.g., EOBI, Security Deduction, etc.).
How do I process advance salary?
Use the Advance Salary feature to record advance payments. When generating the monthly salary, the system automatically deducts the advance amount from the net salary in installments or as a one-time deduction.
How are payslips distributed?
Payslips are automatically generated as PDFs and made available in the Staff Portal. Staff can download them anytime. You can also send payslip notifications via WhatsApp or email.
